Letterkenny Gardaí are investigating the latest attempted break-in at a popular coffee van.

The incident occurred at The Peoples Coffee Company van in the area of Ballymacool Woods between 00.30am and 2am last Saturday morning.

Damage was caused to the door and lock of the vehicle in that area, but entry was not gained.

The van was targeted twice earlier this month, with the lock on the van being broken both times and stock from inside being stolen as well.

“We appeal to anybody who may have been in the area with a dash-cam to make the footage available to us,” Garda Sean Sweeney said of the latest incident.

Anybody with relevant information is asked to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.

The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.
