If you love First Dates UK, keep an eye on the roads for a familiar Frenchman!

Fred Sirieix, the maître d’ of the First Dates restaurant, is cycling the north coast for a new ITV series – ‘Fred’s Tour De Ireland’.

Sirieix was spotted in Derry this week soaking up the Halloween festivities and recording segments of the show.

His tour includes the Inishowen Peninsula, the Mourne Mountains, Strangford Lough, Belfast and the North Coast.

The adventure will see Fred exploring the scenery, culture, history and people of the areas he visits – providing another chance for Donegal folk to show off the gems of Inishowen.

The travel series, which will be split into five parts, is due to air on ITV1 and ITVX in 2025.

Host Fred Sirieix said: “I’ve always wanted to spend some quality time in Ireland to explore the land, learn about the people, plus its food and culture. Travelling by bike can bring you even closer to a place and those that live there, I can’t wait to get started!”
