Dunkineely poet Nigel Lloyd is back with a second poetry collection to raise funds for local cancer charities.

’26 more poems’ is a follow-on from Nigel’s 2023 collection ’26 poems’ which raised €1,200 for Solace Donegal Town and Cancer Care West.

Lloyd’s new collection offers a blend of generally light-hearted and witty verses with a universal appeal.

The book is available for purchase at Wild Atlantic Crafts in Killybegs, with all proceeds benefiting Solace Donegal Town and the Good and New Cancer Bus.

Lloyd’s poems have been published in several magazines, including Crannog and Progressive Rock Magazine. He has also been recognised for his talent in poetry competitions, being a finalist in the Bring your Limericks to Limerick competition in 2018 and the Piano Academy of Ireland Limerick competition in 2021. In addition to his achievements, Lloyd’s work has been featured on BBC Radio Ulster Soundscapes programme.
