Gardaí on patrol in Carndonagh got a fright of a different kind on Halloween night.
It’s after the front window of a patrol car was smashed.
The patrol car was travelling on the Newpark Road in Carndonagh on Thursday evening, the 31st of October, when the driver-side front window was smashed by what Gardaí believe was a stone.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:50pm on Halloween night, with Gardaí suspecting a number of youths who had gathered in a car park in the area may have been involved in the incident.
Anyone travelling in the Newpark Road area on Halloween night, particularly those with dash-cam footage, have been asked to contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 074 93 205 40, or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.
