The Butt Drama Circle are excited to announce their next musical production – Green Day’s American Idiot.

For the first time ever in the north-west, the award-winning musical will be rocking onto the Balor Arts Centre stage to celebrate both the 21st anniversary of the multi-platinum album, and the 15th anniversary of the debut of the Broadway musical.

Featuring songs from the iconic 2004 album such as the title track “American Idiot”, “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”, “Holiday” and “Wake Me Up When September Ends”, this thrilling rock opera is a story about youth, freedom and friendship.

Performers of all experience levels are welcome – whether you’re a seasoned veteran or it’s your first time on stage, you’re encouraged to come and get involved!

Auditions will take place on the 17th of November at 1pm in the Balor Arts Centre. Rehearsals will start in January, with performances running from the 9th – 13th April 2025

To register for auditions, visit https://forms.gle/xuUGgbUyuuPREn3G6 Please note that participants must be aged 17+.

Those unable to attend that still wish to audition are encouraged to register, and can be accommodated at a later date.
