Donegal Senior Women’s Winter League is now open for those interested in joining the league.

This is a new initiative to encourage female participation with the aim to increase adult playing numbers and new teams to start, and current teams to continue playing or over the next few months.

The benefits of participating in team events include the social aspect, increasing fitness along with playing on a regular basis and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Clubs are encouraged to get behind this initiative which shall have long term benefits with more people in their club with a potential to increase their volunteer basis, providing a player pathway for females under the FAI Club Mark Program which is becoming fully mandatory for clubs.

Anyone interested can contact their local club.

Any clubs interested please complete the attached online form with closing date Friday 22 November
