Carol Gallagher has been named as People Before Profit’s election candidate in County Donegal.
The party has expanded ahead of the upcoming General Election, with PBP/Solidarity running a total of 41 candidates nationwide.
After not having a presence in the Donegal constituency in prior elections, the selection of Gallagher is proof of the party’s intent to become a nationwide presence.
She most recently ran as a candidate for People Before Profit in the Northern Ireland Assembly elections earlier this year, in the West Tyrone constituency.
