The Taoiseach and Fine Gael leader Simon Harris will visit Donegal today.
Mr Harris will visit Letterkenny this afternoon as the general election campaign swings into action.
He will then travel to Ballybofey and Stranorlar.
He will be accompanied by Fine Gael candidates John McNulty and Senator Nikki Bradley.
There will be a walk-about of Letterkenny’s Main Street at around 5pm.
The group will begin a canvass of the Twin Towns from 6pm starting out at the Mace store on Pound Street.
