The 100% Redress Party has launched its election manifesto with a focus on end-to-end redress for all property owners impacted by defective concrete blocks.
The People’s Document forms the blueprint of the party’s mission to tackle the DCB crisis.
The manifesto also supports Donegal’s pensioners, particularly those needing home repairs or rebuilds. They are also committing to preserving Irish language and culture, and improving healthcare and mental health services, especially for those affected by the housing crisis and addiction.
“While achieving full redress for property owners is our primary goal, the 100% Redress Party is dedicated to building a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive Donegal,” the party said.
The manifesto was launched on Saturday at a fundraising dance to support local election candidate Charles Ward alongside the party’s efforts.
“We are not a government-funded party; we are a handmade, born-and-bred party,” Ward declared in his address. “The only decisions that come out of this party are for Donegal. We care about what happens in Dublin only when they finally see sense and give everyone 100% redress.”
The party which began around a kitchen table now has four elected county councillors. The momentum continues with Charles Ward running for general election.
Ward said: “With growth comes our manifesto. It is developed from people like us, ordinary people who are fed up with politics. We’re taking back control of our lives, and I will send a clear message to Dublin: I will be a voice for Donegal.”
