Hundreds affected by power cut in south Inishowen

More than 700 homes, businesses and farms are impacted by an electricity outage this Monday morning.

The unplanned outage was reported after 9pm in the Newtowncunningham area.

ESB Networks is working on repairs, with supply expected to be restored by 10.15am.

A notice to customers said: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
