Popular Letterkenny woman Margaret Coyle strikes again with her 22nd annual Christmas charity draw!
This year, Margaret’s draw will be in aid of the Sheephaven Sub Aqua Club and its community based volunteer Search and Recovery Unit.
“All support would be greatly appreciated for such a great cause that has helped bring loved ones gone missing back to their families,” Margaret said.
For over two decades, Margaret has been raising substantial funds for various local charities – some very close to her heart. She’s no stranger to the running circuit either and has raised great amounts for charities through her athletic challenges too.
The usual draw this year will be selling lines for €2 each or 3 for €5 with some great prizes up for grabs. These prizes are sponsored yearly by local businesses.
When asked about her motivation for such extensive fundraising efforts, Margaret explained: “Helping others makes me realise how fortunate I am. There is always someone out there worse off than you, and for myself I’m so grateful and appreciate all I have in life. I know so many out there would love just to have some of the life I’m leading. All support in this draw would be appreciated.”
