RTÉ’s monthly Crimecall TV programme will tomorrow night feature the theft of thousands of euro worth of expensive tools from a south Donegal garage.

Jordan Motorworx in Mountcharles, owned by Gerard Jordan, was targeted at around 1am on Monday, August 12.

Gerard reported at the time that two men “helped themselves to all of our diagnostic equipment, power tools, batteries, chargers and a lot of expensive Snap-on hand tools.”

The expensive range of equipment include two high-value diagnostic scanners: a Snap-on Apollo D9 and a Topdon Phoenix Smart, as well as an Autel TPMS diagnostic handheld tablet. All Snap-on hand tools are distinctive green and black. Multiple Milwaukee impact wrenches and Dewalt grinders and impact wrenches were also reported stolen.

Presentes by Carla O’Brien, Crimecall contains reconstructions, CCTV footage and live studio appeals for information from the public, to help with Garda investigations.

Calls to the programme have led to numerous convictions over the previous 20 series.

This month’s Crimecall will be broadcast tomorrow night at 9:35pm on RTÉ’ One.

Anyone with any information in relation to the raid is urged to contact Ballyshannon Garda Station on 071-9858530. The Garda Confidential Line may also be reached on 1800666 111.
