Loreto Milford to host General Election candidate debate today

Loreto Community School in Milford will host a General Election involving a number of candidates at the school this afternoon.

The event has been organised by Leaving Cert politics students, Aoife Callaghan and Loren Connolly.

They have confirmed the following candidates will be taking part: Minister Charlie McConalouge and Claudia kennedy from Fianna Fail, Sinn Fein’s Padraig mclochlainn, Nuala Carr from the Green Party, Mary T Sweeney from Aontu, Charles Ward from the 100% Redress party and Gerry McKeever, Independent.

The event, which is for students only, will take place this afternoon from 2.30pm until 3.50pm with candidates arriving  at the school at 2.pm. It will be moderated by Greg Hughes from Highland Radio.
