Loreto Secondary School in Letterkenny welcomed students from local primary schools to an exciting VEX IQ robotics competition yesterday (Thursday).

The event, organised by the school’s STEM committee, led by Ms. Boyle and Ms. McGarry brought together students from Woodland NS, Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál and Glenswilly NS.

The competition was officially opened by Ms. Mullen, Principal of Loreto Secondary School Letterkenny.

The school extends its gratitude to Gary Cullen and John Conaghan from ATU for their ongoing support in promoting robotics and STEM education within the school community.

The VEX IQ competition offers a platform for young learners to engage with STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) concepts in a hands-on and exciting way.
