A man aged in his 30s has died following an overnight crash in County Clare.
The single-vehicle crash took place in the early hours of this morning, at Kilmurry McMahon in Kilrush.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who was driving in that area, especially those who have dash cam footage, between 3am and 7am this morning to come forward.
A post-mortem will also take place in due course, and a technical examination of the scene is underway.
It marks the third death on the country’s roads this weekend, after two men from Castlederg were killed and three others were injured in a collision in east Donegal.
Tributes have been paid to the two deceased young men, Ryan Glenn and Gordy Galbraith.
