Local mum fundraising to give Santa a helping hand!

Letterkenny mum Michelle Kelly is spreading festive cheer this year by raising funds to support local charity Cairde Le Cheile.

Michelle Kelly, owner of Magical Tales online bookshop, is teaming up with Cairde Le Cheile at the Vestry as they prepare for Santa Claus’s visit on the 8th of December.

Books from Magical Tales will be given to children as part of their Santa experience.

Since Cairde Le Cheile is covering the cost of the books that Michelle is generously at no profit, she’s aiming to raise funds from the local community to cover these gifts instead.

“I would love for Cairde le Cheile not to have to use their funds for this and for the public to donate towards the Santa gift for each child,” Michelle said.

“Cairde le Cheile is a lovely charity who support people with disability. The remit is to provide sporting, social and employment opportunities for people with disability as well as young people and senior citizens in Donegal.

“I’ve set up a fundraiser on iDonate and am aiming to help them raise €500 to cover the cost of the gifts.”

“I am not profiting at all from this,” Michelle adds. “I just want to give back to this lovely charity.”
