TCS wins Workplace of the Year at Letterkenny Chamber Business Awards

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) a global leader in IT services, consulting and business solutions has been awarded the Workplace of the Year Award, for its operations in Letterkenny.

The recent Letterkenny Chamber Business Awards, which took place in the Silver Tassie Hotel in Letterkenny, celebrated the achievements of businesses in the region.

This year’s Letterkenny Chamber awards attracted entries from companies across Donegal. TCS won the Workplace of the Year award by demonstrating its commitment to creating a positive workplace for its employees, which is reflected in working practices and employee-centric policies that are in place at the company.

These policies include understanding the diverse needs of their employees and prioritising employee well-being and success. TCS offers hybrid working for employees in Letterkenny, incentive policies and health and wellness initiatives. These include performance-based bonuses, recognition programs and career advancement opportunities. TCS awards Star of the Quarter and On the Spot awards to celebrate employees outstanding contributions, as well as their annual performance reviews providing a structured pathway for professional growth.

Commenting on the award on behalf TCS, Andrea McBride, Head of Global Delivery Centre at Tata Consultancy Services said: “At TCS, we are committed to creating a positive and attractive place to work. We endeavour to always put our people first so that employees feel safe, respected and supported. We do this by having people at the heart of our policies, whether that’s employee incentive schemes or health and wellness initiatives. We’re delighted that our approach has been recognised by the Letterkenny Chamber.”

The global delivery centre in Letterkenny hosts state-of-the-art facilities and employs around 900 associates.

It is one of the largest employers in the Northwest of Ireland. TCS set up operations in the UK & Ireland nearly 50 years ago and works with 200 of the region’s best-known businesses, including Aer Lingus, AIB life, Aviva, Bank of Ireland, and Penneys.
