Donegal Gardai have seized a car which has not been taxed for almost two years.
Gardaí from Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit stopped the vehicle at a multi agency checkpoint today.
The tax on it had expired in January 2023.
The car was seized and a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice was issued.
Gardai say the driver will have further dealings with the customs in relation to his choice of fuel.
