Last Sunday evening saw the club host its annual Christmas Party night for the juvenile athletes in the Waterfront in Dungloe.
As always the evening was brilliantly organised and the kids had loads of fun dancing, getting spot prizes and selection boxes for all.
At the Winter Woolie warmer 5k in Letterkenny last week, a good course but in bitter cold conditions awaited the Rosses runners making the trip. Michael Logue times improved as he went under the 19 mins clocking a nice time of 18:59 (2nd M50), next was the ever improving Norman McClean clocking a pb time of 19:05 (3rd M50). Paddy Solan got in a solid run in a time of 21:20. In the ladies section it was great to see a young Rosses lady Leah Ward take a podium finish in 3rd with a brilliant run and time of 20:08. Great also to see Selina O Donnell back racing, finishing 4th and 1st F40 in a nice time of 22:11. Sarah Doherty also made the trip and had a brilliant run to finish 5th in 22:27.
