Updated November 29, 2024.

Temporary traffic lights have been erected at Castlefin Bridge after lorry pulled down one set on Tuesday evening.

The incident happened at the Ringsend/Castlederg side just before 6pm and Gardai are investigating the matter.

Local Councillor, Cllr Patrick McGowan, said that temporary lights have been erected by Donegal County Council until a permanent replacement is installed.

A council spokesperson said: “In the interim, temporary traffic lights have been installed to help manage traffic until such time as the new permanent replacement lights are installed. This work is being progressed and it is hoped to be completed over the coming weeks.”
