‘I’m John McNulty and I’m from Kilcar. I operate a small business, including a shop in Stranorlar, and I have family connections and friends all across Donegal – from Malin to Pettigo and from Lifford to Gaoth Dobhair.
I’m also a small farmer. I believe Fine Gael will form part of the next Government and I believe Donegal needs a TD INSIDE that Government reflecting the hopes and aspirations of the people of this county.
As someone deeply involved in sport, I know the value organisations like the Ladies Gaelic Football Association and the GAA bring to local communities in terms of mental and physical health and I want to work to expand facilities for all sports across Donegal – with more indoor facilities including a new Donegal SuperDome.
I want to work hard for all our communities including ALL those affected by the Defective Concrete crisis. I believe the current scheme is not fit for purpose; and that a dedicated Minister of State for Defective Homes should be in the next Government.
I want to fight for our fishing communities so they can go to sea again thanks to the Fine Gael manifesto commitment; and for our farmers so that red-tape nonsense is binned for good.
As a Government TD, I would fight for homes for all and campaign to have our 9,600 empty houses around Donegal brought back into use as social and affordable homes – and back those who want to build one-off homes in our rural areas.
Fine Gael introduced the Town & Village Renewal Scheme and I want to see that- and investment in our Gaeltacht communities – expanded in the time ahead.
A VAT reduction to 11 per cent and a PRSI reimbursement for all businesses with less than 50 employees is a Fine Gael commitment.
I want to help scrap 3rd level tuition fees and bring in a maximum €10 per day for childcare along with energy credits and income boosts for pensioners.
This cannot be done from the Opposition benches. So please get your voice heard inside the next Fine Gael Government. I would be grateful if you could Vote John McNulty No1 or next preference of your choice.
