The ultimate proposal as wedding ring found in ballot box!

A wedding ring has found its way to the count centre in Donegal this morning.

The ring fell into a ballot box at Scoil Eoghain in Moville yesterday when the voter was putting his paper in.

Obviously the ballot box could not be opened to retrieve it yesterday, so a very close eye was kept on this particular box when it was opened in the Aura count centre this morning.

The ring is now in safe hands. Councillor Ali Farren from 100% Redress Party has it, and will be ensuring it gets back to the voter safely.

Box number 55 had top security this morning!
