The Milford and District Resource Centre (MDRC) has launched its annual “Grab a Grand” fundraiser, just in time for the festive season.
This year, one lucky winner will take home €1,000 on Friday 20th December, making it a perfect Christmas surprise!
Declan Meehan, Manager at MDRC, expressed his enthusiasm for the event: “We’re excited to launch our ‘Grab a Grand’ fundraiser. This initiative is vital for supporting our community services, and we deeply appreciate the ongoing support from our community, which continues to give back generously.”
Entries for the “Grab a Grand” draw are priced at just €10 each and can be purchased at the Milford and District Resource Centre or online through Klubfunder. The more entries you buy, the better your chances of winning the grand prize!
All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards supporting the various services and programmes offered by MDRC, which play a vital role in the local community. From providing essential resources to organising community events, MDRC is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
The money will also support the development of the Gallowglass Community Centre in Milford which, since being gifted to the community two years ago by the Reformed Presbyterian Church, has seen the building transformed into a vital community hub with activities, classes and events aimed at people of all ages.
