Gardaí are appealing for information over a crash in which a woman was seriously injured in Inishowen at the weekend.

The incident occurred at Culkeeny, Malin (Malin to Glengad road) on Sunday shortly after 11.45pm when a car collided with a building.

The sole female occupant of the car was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for serious injuries sustained.

Gardaí in Buncrana are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 11.30pm and 11.50pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 0749320540, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
