Dry start but becoming wet and windy later – Met Éireann

Any mist and fog will clear early this morning and it’ll be dry for a time across Ulster.

However, cloud will continue to build from the west early on with rain and drizzle spreading from the Atlantic later in the morning and afternoon and continuing into the evening. Becoming windy as southerly winds increase fresh to strong and gusty with gales for a time in western coastal parts. Milder with the rain with highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.

It’ll become drier tonight as the rain and drizzle clears southeastwards early in the night. Some scattered showers will follow, with a few clear spells developing. While it’ll be rather windy for a time, the winds will veer southwesterly and gradually moderate. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees.

Tomorrow morning will be mostly cloudy but dry apart from a few scattered showers for a time. However, outbreaks of showery rain will spread from the southwest later in the morning, some of it turning heavy at times. The rain will clear eastwards though through the afternoon, with a mix of sunny spells and blustery showers following, some heavy. It’ll become increasingly windy through the day with southwest winds increasing strong and gusty and later veering west to northwest, further increasing gale force at times in western and northern coastal parts. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees.
