Councillor Donal ‘Mandy’ Kelly is urging motorists to take care due to a wall collapse on a bridge on the R250 main Glenswilly to Fintown road.

The parapet of the bridge, just after McFadden’s bottling store where recent safety improvement works had been carried out, was struck by a vehicle.

“I have reported this to Donegal County Council and safety barriers will be erected soon, until more improvements can be carried out. The road is passable with care,” Cllr Kelly said.
