The heartbroken owners of a missing dog are making a new appeal to get their sweet and gentle pooch back home before Christmas.
Today marks one month since Archie the King Charles Spaniel went missing in the Drumnahoe/Bonagee area of Letterkenny on Tuesday night the 12th/ Wednesday morning the 13th of November.
The owners of the much-loved five-year-old dog are offering a €1,000 cash reward for his safe return, no questions asked.
Melissa and Michelle Tarpey said they are not giving up hope on finding him and appealing to everyone to cast their memories back to this time.
“If you have any information or you remember anything from around those days please get in contact. If you have CCTV we could see that would be so helpful please get in contact,” they said.
The owners are praying that this is the week they get Archie back in his rightful home, where he is doted on every day.
Melissa and Michelle said: “We miss his goofy dance he would greet us at the door with.
“We miss the way he would trot alongside us on a walk looking up at us as if he was contributing to your conversation.
“We miss the fact that no one could cook a chicken within a 5km radius of the house or he would go over to see if he could get a piece.
“To be honest we miss everything about him.
“If you have him, I can understand why you wouldn’t want to give him back, he’s the sweetest, most gentle, loyal little boy.
“But do the right thing and return him, there is a heartbroken family without him.
“All we can pray for is that Archie is being well looked after, getting lots of cuddles and by a stove with a fluffy blanket, it’s where he is happiest.”
Melissa and Michelle have issued thanks to everyone that has helped with their appeal so far, adding: “Please don’t give up now because we sure as hell haven’t. Thank you everyone that has tagged us in posts that look like Archie, your help is greatly appreciated. Let’s hope this is the week we get our boy back.”
Important Note: If you see Archie, please do not chase him. He may be scared.
