Donegal County Council’s gritters will be out in force on the county’s roads tonight as temperatures dip again.
Met Eireann is forecasting lowest temperatures of -1 to +3 degrees in northern counties tonight, with a touch of frost in places.
“A cloudy start to tonight with patchy light rain and drizzle along with some mist and fog, but clear spells along with a few scattered showers will soon spread from the northwest,” the forecast says.
All routes on Donegal County Council’s road maintainence map will be gritted from 8pm tonight.
