Young patients at Letterkenny University Hospital (LUH) received an early Christmas treat today when four Donegal GAA stars arrived for the annual Christmas visit.
Patrick McBrearty, Shaun Patton, Ryan McHugh and Michael Langan took time out from training to deliver gifts to patients and have some festive fun with families and the hard-working staff.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure, the children were all gifted selection boxes and footballs.
Donegal Captain Patrick Mc Brearty said: “To bring a smile to these children and a bit of Christmas happiness is a good thing to do.”
Dr Rafiq of the Paediatric Ward said: “These visits help the patients psychological well being, they get to meet the players and remember these days with happiness and smiles.”
