Hundreds remain without power in North & West Donegal this evening

Hundreds of homes are without power this evening in the north and west of the county.

468 premises in Carndonagh and the surrounding areas have been without power since the mid-afternoon, with repairs not expected until 7pm.

Elsewhere, a number of homes have been without power since this morning.

115 houses are without power in the Kerrykeel area, with 56 homes in Tawny also without electricity since this morning.

Power is expected to be restored imminently in both areas according to the ESB’s PowerCheck website.
