It’s the calm after the storm.

The turkey has been eaten, the presents unwrapped and the Christmas tree is even starting to lose its glow.

So what will the good people of Ireland do today on St Stephen’s Day?

A new survey from lottoland has come up with some suggestions which may or may not surprise you.

One in five people will go to the pub today, a further 16% percent will go shopping and another 4% will take a dip in the sea.

The survey showed that St Stephen’s Day celebrations are dominated by enjoying Christmas Day dinner leftovers (46%), visiting friends and family (41%), doing absolutely nothing at home (31%), and watching sports on TV (29%).

Going to a Christmas panto (6%) is another popular St Stephen’s Day option.
