Pedestrian hospitalised after Newtown’ collision

A pedestrian was hospitalised following a road traffic collision near Newtowncunningham last night.

The incident, involving a car and a pedestrian, occurred on the N13, the main Letterkenny-Derry road, shortly before 10pm.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with what are understood to be non-life threatening injuries

A spokesperson for the Garda Press Office said investigations are ‘ongoing’.
