Letterkenny woman Margaret Coyle’s 22nd annual draw was another great success this year, with Moville’s Geraldine Mullan winning the top prize.

Margaret delivered a bumper hamper to Geraldine just in time for Christmas.

Geraldine was one of hundreds to generously support Margaret’s draw, which she does each year for a range of worthy causes.

There was a total of nine winners this year who got a wonderful range of vouchers and goodies generously donated by local individuals and businesses.

Margaret raised a grand total of €2,250 from the fundraiser, which she proudly donated to the Sheephaven Sub Aqua Club.

A spokesperson said: “Sheephaven SAC would like to thank Margaret Coyle most sincerely for her very generous donation to the club’s Search & Recovery team.

“Margaret raised a total of €2,250 & we are very honoured to have been chosen as this year’s charity.”

Margaret would like to thank her regular sponsors: Magee’s Chemist, Friar’s Rest, Mac’s Deli, Style Council and O’Hehir’s Bakery. She also thanks Spar Supermarket and Simpsons for allowing her to sell tickets on their premises.

“Wishing everyone a very happy new year and look forward to what 2025 has in store,” she said.

Beyond her annual charity draw, Margaret is a dedicated runner and has raised great amounts for charities through her athletic challenges too.
