An outgoing Bundoran woman will be visiting Ireland’s restaurant of romance in the new series of First Dates Ireland.

Dervla Carr, a journalist and singer-songwriter, will be looking for love on the RTÉ2 series as it returns for a 10th season.

Dervla appears on the first episode, airing on Thursday 9th January.

She’ll be matched with nervous IT manager Paddy from Kildare. According to RTE, the date goes from “chaos to harmony” so fingers crossed it’s a success!

Thursday nights are about to see a lot more romance as another batch of singletons will enter the First Dates Ireland restaurant starting January 9, 2025 on RTÉ2.

With a refreshed look, new graphics and colour scheme, series 10 is set to offer plenty of surprises!

Ten familiar faces will be returning to the restaurant once again and the show will also feature its oldest daters yet – all with the hope of finding their forever love.

On hand as always with kind words of encouragement, shoulders to cry on and insightful observations on love and life are table angels Alice and Pete, Neil, the world’s friendliest barman and Maitre D’ Mateo Saina.
