Some of Donegal’s most talented female artists will be gathering this weekend for a special ‘Women’s Little Christmas’ charity concert.
The Nollaig na mBan event at Conwal Parish Church in Letterkenny on Sunday 5th January at 7pm will feature a number of Wild Atlantic Women members.
The group comprises many talented women of the north west who have been connected by a love of music and heritage. They launched the Wild Atlantic Women ‘Live, Laugh, Love’ CD for the Donegal Hospice in 2018.
Sunday’s concert promises a night of beautiful songs, poetry, peace and laughter.
On the line-up is Brí Carr, Bernie Doherty, Anne Biddie, Sinead Black, Hannah McFadden, Helena McNally, Carol Wilson, Maria McCormack, Jean Curran, Roise Herrity, Karen Murphy and more of the original WAW as well as a few new faces / voices.
No ticket necessary, donations welcome at the door.
