Ribbons from Letterkenny Tree of Remembrance to be blessed this Sunday

The Letterkenny Rotary Club will hold an Ecumenical service on Sunday, January 5th at 3pm in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny, to bless the ribbons from their annual Tree of Remembrance.

The Tree of Remembrance, adorned with yellow ribbons, was a prominent feature in the Letterkenny Shopping Centre during the Christmas season.

Each ribbon represents dedication made in memory of loved ones, for those living with illness, or simply as a gesture of remembrance.

Donations made in exchange for the ribbons will benefit St Vincent de Paul, the Donegal Diabetes Branch, and Rotary’s Polio Plus initiative.

Following Sunday’s service, light refreshments will be served, and everyone is warmly invited to attend.
