Gritters will be out on all main routes in Donegal this evening ahead of another icy night.
Temperatures are predicted to dip to 0 degrees and below overnight according to Met Eireann, with the national forecaster warning for the potential for hazardous conditions on the roads as well.
A nationwide status yellow warning for low temperatures and icy conditions will remain in place until Thursday.
