The 2024 Donegal Person of the Year is to be revealed next month at Leo’s Tavern, the home of titleholder Moya Brennan.

Following an extensive nomination process, the next recipient will be announced by the Donegal Association on the 8th February from 7pm.

Traditionally, the Person of the Year was always announced in Dublin. However, last year, the association departed from tradition by holding the handover ceremony closer to the most recent recipient’s home.

A formal celebration of the 2024 Donegal Person of the Year will take place later in the springtime.
