Retention permission granted for Inishowen ‘eco pods’

Planning permission has been granted to retain two ‘eco pods’ that were constructed in Inishowen, despite local objections.

Keith and Kelsey Harkin had sought ‘retention’ of the development at Inch Island. The completed works also included an extension to an outbuilding for guest use.

A number of objections were lodged against the application on access and traffic related issues.

However, Donegal County Council planners decided to grant permission subject to a number of conditions.
