The forward-thinking Balor Developmental Community Arts (DCA) is to host unique Autism’s Got Talent and Down Syndrome’s Got Talent events.

The festival of talent will take place at the Balor Theatre, Ballybofey, over two nights on March 21st and 22nd.

Just 12 months ago, the DCA successfully hosted Donegal’s first ever Autism’s Got Talent. The event was inspired by a similar initiative undertaken in the UK byAnna Kennedy, who was subsequently awarded an OBE for her efforts.

“This year we have decided to host two events,” explained Balor DCA Co-ordinator, Caroline Bell.

“These are designed to showcase the talents of the participants, and demonstrate the power of inclusivity that the Arts can offer society as a whole.”

The DCA is currently seeking applications from children and young adults for both nights.
