A Donegal company has applied to erect two 126 metre tall wind turbines in Illies, Inishowen.
The application has been made to Donegal County Council by Fahan Wind Limited.
The development will consist of the construction and operation of two wind turbines at Upper Illies, Illies townland in Inishowen.
The turbines will comprise of a steel tower, nacelles and composite fibre rotor blades with a hub height of up to 85 metres, and thus a blade tip height of up to 126 metres.
The application also includes external wind turbine transformers, access tracks and underground electrical cables.
