National: Gardaí make huge €268,000 drugs seizure at Rosslare

A man aged in his 20s has been arrested after Gardaí seized a large quantity of drugs at Rosslare Port yesterday.

Revenue Officers discovered a 13.4kg haul of cannabis in a freight unit that had arrived from Dunkirk in France.

Gardaí say the cannabis has a value of €268,000.

A man aged in his 20s was arrested following the seizure, and is currently being held at a Garda Station in County Wexford under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Their investigations into the matter are ongoing.
