Five sheep stolen from field in north Donegal

Gardaí in Milford are appealing for information after five sheep were stolen from a field in the Portsalon area last week.

The incident occurred in the area of Rosskirk sometime between 3pm on Tuesday the 14 th of January and 11am on Thursday the 16 th. The animals included a yellow painted Suffolk and four black and white Dutch spotted sheep. 

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity or unknown vehicles with trailers in the area between those dates to make contact with Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060,” Garda Sergeant Eunan Walsh said.

Any relevant information may alternatively be passed on via the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
