Donegal County Council advise the public that road conditions throughout the county are treacherous this morning.
A number of fallen trees have blocked or partially blocked numerous routes.
The advice from the council is to remain in place and not to travel until this storm has passed and it is safe to do so.
Donegal County Council will be monitoring #EowynDL on social media and the public are encouraged to use this “hashtag” when posting local issues on Facebook or on X (Twitter)
The Red Wind Warning for Donegal remains in place until later this afternoon.
