Fine Gael’s slump in popularity has continued post-election, with Sinn Fein finding gains in the latest set of political polls.

The latest Red C/Business Post poll sees another slight drop in support for Fine Gael, down one point to 20 percent.

Sinn Fein meanwhile have picked up some momentum following November’s election, as they are now up two points to 22 percent support – tied with coalition leaders Fianna Fail who remain unchanged on 22 percent also.

The Social Democrats have seen strong gains, up three points to seven percent – while Labour have fallen three points to four percent.
