Fanad Lighthouse is to remain closed for tours in the wake of damage done during Storm Éowyn.

The lighthouse will remain closed due to damaged and loose electrical wires and poles along the road.

The operators of the lighthouse say the safety of their visitors and staff is their top priority.

The lighthouse say it will kep the public updated on any changes and look forward to welcoming the public back soon.
