Double trouble for Kilcar motorist

A Donegal motorist’s misfortune took a turn for the worse when their broken-down vehicle was targeted in a theft.

Gardaí are seeking information over a robbery at Bogagh, Kilcar which occurred between 12pm on Sunday the 26th of January and 11am on Monday the 27th of January.

A black Mitsubishi Outlander had broken down and was parked up along the roadside.

Entry was gained to it and, although no damage was caused, an animal scanner of substantial value was stolen from the vehicle.

Gardaí are appealing to anybody who may have observed any activity around this parked up vehicle between those times to make contact with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530. The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.
