Five post offices in County Donegal remain closed due to power outages following Storm Eowyn.

An Post issued an update today, with the post offices and centres in Bruckless, Clonmany, Letterkenny DSU, Leitirmacaward and Pettigo still shut as they do not have electricity.

Three further post offices in the county are operating on a limited basis, with delays to payments from the Department of Social Protection.

Those centres with delayed payments are in Breenagh, Carrigart, Mountcharles and Portnoo.
