The owners of Teach Coll pub and restaurant in Magheroarty have announced they are closing down to focus on family time.

The decision was based on the happy news that owners Billie Mc Quaid and Edward Muldowney have welcomed a baby.

After 14 years of serving the community, the couple has decided to step back from the business to start a new chapter.

In a message to customers, they said: “This decision is in the best interest of our family, and we are grateful for the time we have been able to spend with all of you.”

Billie and Edward extended their heartfelt gratitude to their staff and every one of their loyal customers.

“We are honoured to have been a part of so many special moments and memories,” they said.

“We will of course honour any outstanding valid vouchers with a monetary value as soon as we have figured how best to achieve this.”
