Why Donegal animal charity is not ‘feline’ all romantic for Valentine’s Day!

A Donegal animal charity is offering to give feral cats the snip and name them after people’s ex-partners in a hilarious fundraiser for St Valentine’s Day.

For a €30 donation, the Donegal Animals in Need charity will do the necessary to any of the feral cats that come their way.

They will even send a picture of the neutered cat to you so you can imagine your ex on St Valentine’s Day.

The newly neutered felines will then be released into the wild through the TNR Programme (Trap Neuter Release.)

All the money raised from the quirky St Valentine’s fundraiser will go directly into the Donegal Animal In Need’s TNR programme to keep feral cat numbers down.

An explosion in wild cats has taken place in Ireland in recent years because many are not being neutered.

Many cats are being inhumanely put to sleep because of the large numbers.

Donations for the programme are now being accepted!

The reaction to the hilarious fundraiser has gone viral online.

Helena Jennings commented “Omg count me in!!!! Seriously. I just have to figure out which of the ex’s is worthy.”
